It's been quite crazy to study animation, because it's definally something hard to me but i'll keep trying to push it foward. ;) Those are some exercises i've been doing at Melies.
This year i'll be studying at Melies, so there's a lot of new things to learn in animation and modeling, i'm also trying to manage my time the best i can to keep studying drawing and painting regularly.
This is my first modeling study, it was based on a dagger of Prince of Persia The Two Thrones.
Another speedie one, took me something like two and a half hour. I'm quite frustrated with my lack of progress in composition fundament. But gotta keep going... training and studying even more...
Since I've visited a shelter for abandoned animals in 2007 and adopted my Lion called Cat (:P)I am completely in favor of this cause, which inspires me to draw and paint this subject once in a while. Would be nice to have more people interested in this cause. =]
Sharing some of the process/mostrando parte do processo:
I felt like dusting off the blog today, so tried to convey some kind of a distant mountain market in this speed painting, it took me like 2 and a half hour. For those of you who doens't know what a speed painting is, here's what wikipedia says about it: "(...)is an exercise, primarily digital, in which one paints on a time budget, using already developed methods to create a piece.(...)"
this time i just wanted to paint a night scene, it took quite long to finish the piece, about 8 to 9 hours. There's something in the composition that bothers me, but i can't find what. By the way, composition is such a pain in the a... i really hope to master it someday. =)
